Online talk with Dr Matthew Jebb, Director of the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland, as part of the Rhododendron Festival

Free event, booking essential: Eventbrite

Matthew describes the close connections for over 160 years between the Moore family of the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin and the Actons in Kilmacurragh.

In early April, the Gardens at Kilmacurragh are marked by the splendour of their two centuries old Rhododendron collection bursting into flower. This year, the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland and the Office of Public Works are delighted to present a Rhododendron Festival, in collaboration with the RHS Rhododendron, Camellia & Magnolia Group. The Festival runs online from 12-18 April. We have a series of video stories and online talks to be launched every day of the week. See videos on our YouTube channel from 12 April.
