August Themed Tour: Toiling the Soil – the Irish Connection to the Land

Irish people have a strong affiliation with the land. They have laboured on it for centuries, facing and overcoming many challenges, none greater than the Great Famine.

This August, join us as we examine a selection of plants that made up the very fabric of the Irish field on the eve of 1845.

Wednesdays 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th

Saturdays 3th, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st

Time: 2.00pm

This tour slot is intended for individual visitors, families and friends etc.
