A workshop for Rhododendron Week 2021 with Seamus O’Brien, Head Gardener at the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland, Kilmacurragh. Seamus gives an overview of the taxonomy of the genus, using fresh materials from the extensive collection of over 180 species.
In early April, the Gardens at Kilmacurragh are marked by the splendour of their two centuries old Rhododendron collection bursting into flower. This year, the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland and the Office of Public Works are delighted to present a Rhododendron Festival, in collaboration with the RHS Rhododendron, Camellia & Magnolia Group.
