The gardens themselves are magnificent and the winter colours were spectacular. Lots of very unusual and even strange looking tropical plants. And the scene at the pond made for a spectacular photo.

Lovely gardens on an old estate, now being used to conserve and protect selected native and foreign plants. A short walk with a truly expert guide (Claire), a yummy lunch of scones with jam and cream, and clean, spacious toilets.

A hidden gem in Wicklow, near Dublin. We went to photograph the bluebells and found white bluebells also! Angela was our wonderful guide for the 12pm walk, and does she know and love her history and plants! We brought a picnic, as the day was so lovely.
